The City of Brooklyn Center requires the licensing of Christmas tree sales as defined in Section 23-1301 of the Ordinance. The license expires on January 5 of the year following its issuance. It's important to note that no Christmas tree sales license will be granted to zoning districts other than: C2, I-1, and I-2 districts.
Upon completion of application, including providing required documentation and fees, the license application shall be presented to the City Council for consideration at their regularly scheduled meeting. The City Council meets the second and fourth Monday of each month. Please allow adequate time for completion of application and Council approval when applying.
