The City of Brooklyn Center is exploring the idea of restoring Lakeside Park—the open space along Twin Lake Blvd E and 52nd Ave N— into a native prairie landscape.

Native plantings can:
• Support pollinators like butterflies and bees
• Improve water quality and soil health
• Reduce mowing and maintenance needs
• Add color, texture, and seasonal beauty to the neighborhood
